HB332 by Burnam

Lon Burnam is as anti-gun as they come. He introduces a "minor in possession of firearms" bill in every session and all have been rejected. Each year he cleans the bill up a little and HB332 may well get some support from people who do not know the history of Burnam’s prior attempts and prior bills.

Make no mistake, HB332 is the camel's nose under the tent. If it passes, Burnam and others like him will be trying to amend the statute to restore the more draconian provisions he has removed in his successive failed attempts over the years.

This bill needs to be defeated, so if it gets a committee hearing set, we need to make some calls and send emails. No point doing it now, it's not on anyone's radar screen - except ours of course!!

Regards,
Chas.
