First polls now closing. Kentucky and Indiana called for Trump. Vermont called for Clinton.

And away we go...

Important states Ohio and North Carolina close their polls at 7:30 Eastern. Biggie at 8:00 Eastern is Florida. Still too close to call in Virginia, Georgia, and South Carolina. May be a good sign.

I know it's the NY Times but here is a good map that shows updates as they happen. I'm using it as I get sick of hearing the talking heads guessing about what is happening.

Nifty idea. I haven't looked around for any similar. Not that it matters, but the mapped results seem to be lagging because numbers are already coming in for some of the states showing zero results. I'm keeping the page open all the same.

I don't know why I feel I need real-time info this election. Maybe so I can expertly time the hurling of whatever object is thrown at the TV, assuming that is the outcome. :???:

By a wide margin. I'm sweatin' NC and FL right now. Some NC polls will stay open late following an accessibility protest filed. Only a 1% spread in FL right now.

Florida is bouncing back and fourth. Looks like it's going to be close.

Georgia is showing 70.1% for Trump.

What decides rather these news stations "predict" a winner?

What troubles me here is that the first returns, which included the early voters, had Trump leading by almost 19%. Typically, it's the Dems who vote most strongly early. I'm not likin' the trending.

And no one say "hanging chads."
