He could not say it was unconstitutional, but likely to be found. Sounds like a wish list.

Federal judges have way too much power. You don't like a law just block it.

Agreed! Our founding fathers unforseeably screwed up when they wrote in that part about "for life". We desperately need TERM LIMITS for federal judges as well as for congress.

You have to remember that average life expectancy was significantly shorter back in the 1700's. Physical issues (heart attack, kidney disease, etc) on average took you out long before senility, dementia, or alzheimers set in...........The founding fathers expected their supremes to croak BEFORE diminished (mental) capacity became a factor.........
