Unsigned Documents - Day 29

#1

Post by spud »

Sent in on May 22ed
Unsigned documents dated June 17th

Signed what needed to be signed (So POed at instructor, I asked him if these had to be signed and he said no) But my question is, it says

"Please return this letter, along with written proof of compliance or other relevant information from the appropriate authority, to the Department, at the address listed below, to prevent any further delay in the issuance of your licenes or cert."

So does that mean that all I have to do is send in the 2 letters and what wasnt signet back? Or what is "Written Proof" ?

Also, can I put my packet and UPS it to them? Or should I just ship as I did my 1st packet?

R.I.P - 60ish day turnaround 5/22/06 - 6/20/06
Will be missed :(

Just thinking, What if I put a Thanks for the hard work letter with a $20 attached to it? Might make someone work a little harder.

I have no idea what you didn't sign or what DPS sent back to you. Are you talking about your affidavits that needed to be signed and notarized? Fingerprint cards? Photo card? Application? Arrest records?

Your best bet is to take this back to your instructor and let him or her sort it out.

I forgot to sign the bottom of the passport holder and send in a blank signed criminal history report.

Well then... sign the passport holder and send in certified copies of disposition of arrest records if you have ever been arrested, and you should be good to go.

And I hope you were REALLY kidding about sending them a $20, cause they have absolutely NO sense of humor.

Blank signed criminal history report? Whats that? Unless you have a CH, there is no need to send one in. And if you have a CH, why on earth would you need to send in a blank report?

Do what the letter DPS sent you said to do. If you have ever been arrested you have to send in certified criminal records.

Not sure, I was told that if I didnt have to declare anything to NOT send that paper in. Then I got it in the mail saying sign it. I called and they said just send in a blank signed one.

Im confused and hope that this is the last bump in the road....

Go to the County Court house and ask for your misdemeanor arrest record, you might as well pick up your felony arrest record while you are there, it will show that you don't have any and might save some time.
