From application: 71 days
From all documentation at DPS: 61 days
I'm only a day behind you! They say everything was received on the 8th... Or 6th. It wasn't clear. But with my luck it'll be another few weeks.

Congratulations and be safe!

Timeline

1/2/16 LTC class, application started, confirmation email
1/7/16 fingerprinted, submitted all documents, confirmation email

Confused if the my starting date is the 2nd or 7th, if 2nd will be 68 days today, if 7th 63 days today.

It seems as though it would be the 2nd by what I read on this board!

No website change, tried calling today and got message that all operators are busy and to call back...

Hopefully will hear something soon.

My wife and I went through this together and our timelines are identical:

1/4 -- started online application
1/6 -- completed course
1/8 -- Fingerprints (IdentToGo)
1/8 -- Finished app online uploaded all docs
1/11 -- confirmation Email

The one time that I called in, Rebbecca told me that all of my docs were received on January 9th and that was the date she used to count the number of days and she did so by simply adding thirty to January 9th--Feb 9, March 9, etc.

60 calendar days was on Wednesday for me and I had seen some people posting in the Waiting Room that they had received their plastic, there confirmation date was 1/9, 1/7 2016--so I have no idea where my application may be in the process. However, it is a good thing to have a forum in which to discuss without having to worry about it.

I'm a couple days behind you (1/15), so I'm hoping for the next week or two myself. They certainly seemed to clear out some of the backlog over the last day or two. Once Sweat get's his, the rest of ours should start cascading down like rain. I think he's got the whole system clogged up. :boxing "rlol" :thumbs2:

First time poster, I have been following everyone else's timeline so here is mine as I got my plastic in the mail today.

1/18/16- Application online
1/21/16- Fingerprinted
1/23/16- Class
1/25/16- Mailed CHL-100 via snail mail
I checked the DPS website this morning and it had "updated". I did not check it daily but sometime between 3/7 and 3/10 it switched over.
3/10/16- Recieved LTC

55 days from application
48 days from mailing CHL-100

I was not expecting it until later this month but hopefully that means they are spitting them out faster.

Dang, you give me hope for something sooner, I had everything turned in by 2/22 and reading up was thinking end of June the earliest for me. See what happens.

I will add that I have a clean record and with my CHL-100, I also sent a printout of the application confirmation and fingerprint emails.

Cool, another applicant with plastic in hand who submitted everything after me (21 days after I was all in). I guess some RSDs go by calendar days and others go by business days. No rhyme or reason for the Travis County bureaucracy.

Ok, clock struck 7:00 am and I hit the dial button. 15 minutes later I was speaking with Tonya and I got the same answer we have all been hearing for some time now. They are still buried under a backlog.

Tonya did say that it was taking them about 12 weeks to process an application--I know this doesn't help.

All that I can say is that I have waited 32 years to get my first Harley (still don't have it yet, I just have the go ahead from the wife (CFO/CEO) for purchase), so, as long as the plastic comes in before the 32 year mark, I should be good.

P.S.
I was wearing my super lucky Dallas Cowboys pajamas when I made this call--if they can't break the spell, then this is some kind of uber-bad-juju. Really, these pajamas prevented the worldwide computer melt down in 2000.

Hello!?!

I'm waiting at DAY 61!!

App Date 1/6
Class 1/10
Scan/Emailed CHL100 1/11
Fingerprints 1/13
Email confirmation 1/15

Still waiting. Rebecca said yesterday after placing me on hold for 5 minutes "we have your application date as 6 of January. You'll just have to wait a little longer Or just get something in the Mail."
what the heck.

Yeah that timeline SUCKS! My app date was 1/4. Everything was in that day except my fingerprints and those were submitted 1/13 and I still have nothing. Sucks that someone who submitted everything at least 2 weeks after me already has plastic. I have no record, nothing. I've been finger printed and background checked by the FBI for previous jobs. It should not be taking this long. This blows.
