When you have been waiting over 60 days, you don't need to be patient anymore. The DPS themselves have stated that it's a maximum of 60 days to issue a new license. Not 70, not 80. If they need more time, they should change the way they operate and give themselves more breathing room.

When you call the Legislature and contact the Governor you are really griping to them-about them. The Legislature set the rules, the legislature gets the money, the legislature appropriated the amount of employees at the DPS. The Governor signed it into law.
DPS was basically given a hammer and told to build a house. Maybe two houses.

I guess what amazes me is people cannot see what an outstanding job DPS does with this legislative mandate on limited resources allocated.

Personally I wish it was Constitutional Carry, but it's not.
