Here's my contemporary timeline:

5/23/2017 - Submitted application online and paid fee
5/25/2017 - Fingerprints
6/3/2017 - Took LTC Class
6/7/2017 - Status online shows pending while fingerprints and background being reviewed
6/17/2017 - All green, Print Pending
6/21/2017 - All green, Mailed

Hope to be getting plastic either today or tomorrow!

Application started 6/8/17
fingerprints undergone 6/12/17
Class complete 6/17/17
CH-100 submited 6/18/17
RDS email confirming submiting documents 6/19/17

I have tried checking my status on the sight but there is no status update page. I am greeted with

"LICENSE APPLICATION STATUS: If you have a pending License to Carry a Handgun application, please allow sufficient time for processing. If you have not already done so, please submit all of the items listed on the checklist you received. DPS will notify you by mail if further information or additional documents are required. Once the application and documents have been received by Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page.

Please Note: Once a license has been issued, this service will no longer be available.

LOL nothing to get you more impatient than waiting on that little peice of plastic

Am i checking in the wrong spot? or do i just need to be patient and let the process take its course? Any info at all would be appreciated

You're in the right spot, it should appear soon...probably not soon enough...but soon.

You can find threads on here that didn't display a status screen until it was at "Print pending". Mine came up quick, but it seems to vary case by case.

Applied on line starting 6/4, everything in by 6/12, printed today. Not bad, and far better than my first wait time in 96 or any renewal I've had previously.

60 days to the day of paperwork submission. Frustrating to say the least but glad I don't have to wait another 180 days!

I didn't keep up with when I applied but it was the week of May 22nd, probably the 23rd. My status as of today is Print Pending, and last I checked was a week ago. Everything else is green and says background completed. That's about 7 weeks now, but I say that's pretty good because I didn't attach my court documents from a hearing I had when I applied so I had to get those and submit them. I'm happy so far with how fast it's been going. About how long has everyone had to wait from the time it says print pending to you having it in your hand?

all supporting documents sent on July 10th. Had my finger prints done and application completed a week and a half prior. now as of July 20th all green but background review and printing of course. interested to see the wait time for me from now. From what i have been seeing the wait times have improved greatly in the past year... For most i would say.
