For Gordon

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

For Gordon

#1

Post by WildBill »

Gordon, one of my co-workers, was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer which has spread to the liver and lymph nodes. His daughter brought him by work today, mostly to talk to HR about keeping up his health insurance and benefits. He was in a wheel chair has lost so much weight and is looking very gaunt. He just started chemo last week and is undergoing treatment for pain management. Gordon, 52 years old, is married and has two lovely daughters. His wife recently took a second job because his sick leave has run out and his daughter quit school to stay home to care for him. Please join me and pray for Gordon and his family.

Gordon and his family are on my daily prayer list. I lost a cousin last year to prostate cancer. It was a strong, two-year battle, but his family will still be recovering for some time to come.

Will do.

This doesn't sound good.

Prayers that God will strengthen the family.

Gordon Miller passed away from his cancer yesterday evening. Just this last Sunday, his coworkers staged a benefit and we raised about $11,000 for Gordon's family. It was a fitting tribute. Please pray for his family in their time of need.
