Update on Carlson1

Post by RPBrown »

Just left the hospital. Spoke with Mary for a few minutes and she said Carl was having a pretty tough time (he was asleep while I was there).

They will be moving him to Baylor Dallas Monday and are going to try another stint if the artery is not in too bad of shape.

Our continued prayers are needed for Carl, Mary, and Justin.

Thank you for the update. It is good of you to stop by and check on our Brother in the hospital.

I know that Carl and his family really do appreciate it.

Prayers sent this A.M. before work.

Get well soon, Carl!

I am new here but I will send up prayers for Carl and his family. I know that any extra prayers will help. As they have for my family in the past.

Well I am home thanks to all of you who prayed. A brief outline.
1. Eight stents in main artery.
2. 60-75% blockage. (When this blockage closed all the way a by pass was a must - still not for sure if it would work or not)
3. Doctors at Baylor in Irving says that the blockage is closed and we have to at least try a by pass - so on to Baylor at Dallas.
4. Cardiovasular surgeon makes a visit and explains how complicated this would be and the success rate was not going to be good.
5. After 7 days of hospital we went in for heart cath just to get a recent picture to the surgeon would again know what he is facing.
6. WELL GUESS WHAT - There is a God in Heaven. The closed blockage is only about 25% closed. They do not know how it degreased instead of increased - BUT WE DO! Praise God.
7. I do have to have bed rest for several days (cannot preach Sunday), but can go back to doing what I feel I can do.

Thanks to everyone who came and visited, called, sent emails, and etc. . . Some I can't remember because of the medicines, but I appreciate you more than I can say!
