Prayers for AndyC's wife

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Sorry, I forgot to update......

I spoke with Andy Thursday morning. They met with her oncologist, and there is some hope. Yes, she is still very sick, but there is a course of treatment available to them, and the oncologist indicated that this was something that can be beaten. He was able to give Andy and his wife some encouragement.

God is good.

I just got another update from Andy.

Scans are completed, and her oncologist has determined that the cancer has not spread beyond the involved lung and lymph nodes. She will be starting a regiment of chemotherapy and radiation therapy next week. For now, surgery is not being considered.

Her chemo treatments will consist of 6 days on (M-F + M) and 2-3 weeks off to recover before starting another round. Details of radiation treatments still TBD.

As far as the lesions in her breasts, after the chemo there may not be any need for further surgical intervention.

Andy said the oncologist was ecstatic and practically hopping from one foot to the other when giving them the news. So this is a good report.
