Health Need: Brain tumor

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Health Need: Brain tumor

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

A former Assoc. Pastor at our church is now lead pastor at a church in Tomball. I just received word that he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has been admitted to M.D. Anderson for testing and treatment. There's no good age to have a brain tumor, but he's young with a wife a young children making it even worse.

Please keep Jesse in your prayers.

UPDATE:
Please keep Jesse and his family in your prayers. Unless God touches Jesse, his time on earth is likely short. His brain tumor is large and it already involves the speech center in his brain. The plan is for surgery this week to remove as much as possible, biopsy, then develop a treatment plan to extend his life. There are very serious post-surgery complications that are a real threat to his quality of life.

Here is a picture of Jesse, his wife and his four children. Jesse is the tall guy and the man on the right is the lead pastor of our church.

Believers know that prayer is not a symbolic moment of silence, or a show of respect. It's a heartfelt plea to God for His divine intervention knowing that anything is within His power.

Chas.

The Lord has led him to the best place in the world for treatment. Our families' prayers will be with him, his family, & his treatment team.

We will pray that the Lord lifts him and his family up, that His healing touch is bestowed upon Jesse.

Lord I lift Pastor Jesse up to in prayer, I ask boldly that you give strength to his wife and children. I also ask for a Godly surgical team that will pray for your guidance and control through the operation.

Lord I will also pray for your will for Pastor Jesses health, My personal prayer is for a complete healing without any complications.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen
