Not sure, a friend who is a member sent me the link. It is a positional match upto 1000 yard. 8-10 rds per stage 8 to 10 stages. I bring out the 300 WM, I wanted to shoot my SAKO 243 but it mags are 3 rds (I have 2 mags) Shooting strings re upto 10rds. My 300WM mags can hold 8 rds

I would love to shoot my 6mm-06 in something like that!

Beiruty,
Please report back on your thoughts on the PRS match. I've been pondering this for awhile.

PRS is a lot of fun, it tests both the shooter and the equipment.
while you will see a wide range of equipment, try not to fall into the "that guy" trap. Like 3 gun, benchrest, hot rods, etc.. just because that guy uses x and scored a few more points doesn't inherently mean it's the only tool for the job.

some kind of bipod and barricade bag are almost mandatory, and water. lots of water.
When any govt, or church, says This you can't read, are forbidden to know, the result is tyranny and oppression. Little force is needed to control a man who has been hoodwinked; no force can control a free man, not the rack, bombs, not anything, you can't conquer a free man, at most you can kill him.

I was not able to make it. I need to shoot my 243 and it needs bottom metal conversion so I can use 10 rds magazines.
