Chas.
This would be shocking since they recently added several brand new, large bays with lighting for IDPA. They are also hosting the Comptac Republic of Texas Championship at Thunder.

I was told this is all that is being shot at Thunder now. Do we have any Thunder Tactical Shooters on the Forum who can tell us what's going on?

Chas.

Thunder tactical shot their Thursday match out there tonight with no issues. They recently paid their annual dues to the range and all is well between TTS and the range.

I shot my first IDPA match last Wednesday evening. It was fun, exciting... and I ended up dead last! Well, that's exactly the reason why I wanted to start doing this, so that I get to practice shooting while moving, with the clock ticking and in low-light. So many things I need to improve on, but I am planning to go back next week.

The folks with TTS are a friendly bunch... looks like some have been shooting there for years and know each other well. I felt a bit odd at times, but everybody was so nice and made me feel welcome.

DO NOT feel bad about being in last place! It was your first time to be introduced to an entirely new style of shooting. When you first enter this sport, your only priorities are to be safe and have fun.

I looked at the scores and the best advice I can give you is to slow down a little more. The points down and penalties are killing you.

Thanks for the advise... I was telling myself all night that I needed to s-l-o-w d-o-w-n, as I wasn't been neither accurate nor fast! Well, lots of room for improvement, but that's really the whole reason why I wanted to get on this.
