West Houston Shooters club:

Intro to IDPA and action shooting sports. One hour lecture and five hours running scenarios and shooting. Beginner class for brand new shooters or folks that are just 1-3 matches in and want to gain knowledge of the rules, scoring, tactics, gear selection, course of fire planning, various targets you will encounter, and how to play the game. We'll start from zero and have you looking like you have done this many times over. Plan on at least 250 rounds, bring gun, a holster that fits it, at least 3 mags, and mag holders. I will have some gear that can be tried to show the differences in competition vs CHL use. If you are new and have some gear questions reach out to me whidpa@gmail.com for advice. Bring some snacks and drinks so you can stay fresh thru the session we will take some small breaks to chat about course topics and change around stages. Starts a 9am and should finish by 3pm. Price $130 includes club insurance and range fee.

NO matter how responsible he seems,
NEVER give your gun to a monkey.
