Looking at getting a SW1911SC or PD. Anyone have any feedback?

I don't have one so I can't give any personal experience.

Several months ago there was a lot of traffic on http://www.1911forum.com concerning the SC's and PD's and the vast majority of the comments were positive. The only negative comments I can recall dealt with poor muzzle crowns and I believe a slight gap between the bottom of the rear Novak sight and the slide. Accuracy, reliability and fit/finish seemed to garner good marks.

Regards,
Chas.

I've seen a couple owned by others and have heard only good things.

Oh, YEAH! I carry that puppy and it's sweet, for SURE! Dead-on accurate. I replaced the wooden grips with the rubber and it's perfect!

You'll LOVE it!
