Jeans for Pocket Carry

I carry an S&W 642 in my right front pocket along with one speedstrip for reloads. I am looking for some jeans that meet the following requirements:

1) Deep front pockets for the gun;
2) Large (1" x 2") "watch pocket" to accomodate the speedstrip;
3) Bottoned rear pocket to secure my wallet.

Anybody know of any styles of jeans that meet these criteria?

Welcome to TexasCHLforum. Yeah, I know I sent a welcoming PM, but you get two.

A few months back, someone posted a note about a certain style of Levi's that were excellent for pocket carry. Everyone thought that was ironic since the company has been widely reported as donating to anti-gun causes. I wish I could recall the style, but perhaps this will jog someone's memory. (In fact, the post may have been on 1911forum.com.)

Jeans are very individualistic. I admit that my waist has grown over the years, but even when I wore 30" 501's (way before "pre-shrunk"), I had tree trunk thighs.

These days, my calves are the size of most mens' thighs. I now wear 42" Sears "Canyon River Blues" (comfort cut), and they give me plenty of room for OWB and IWB.

Like I said, jeans vary. You have to find the ones that fit, not the ones someone else wears.

As for the thighs... must be a freak genetic thing. I'm not a muscle man. I don't lift weights. But you don't want to get into a squat contest with me; I leg-pressed 750 on a Universal gym in high school, when I weighed about 140.

I carry hooked to right front pocket of Walmart jeans using a Barami Hip Grip.
Undetectable with shirt out.

Sorry about posting to an older post, but I just saw this grip at a gun show. It was on a stainless looking Charter, very nice indeed.
I think a lot of folks might use this on their "errand or pocket pistol" if they knew about them.
They fit my hand very well, and the gun hung in the pocket perfectly. Wearing Dickies loose fit carpenter pants.

Welcome to the forum gunovice. I only back pocket carry so will defer to those that carry in front. I wear Wranglers in their stretchie wastebands. I remember the thread & thought is was here too. I really remember the Willow Creek thread & a lot of us got some of them for dress. They really work good for IWB w/ that inch of stretch. The front pockets are really good on them but no watch pocket.

I have a pair of Toters. They are excellent quality and high priced. I have even carried a full size 1911 in them. Both pockets are adjustable to fit whatever gun you are carrying. I carry a S&W 340PD in all of my pants including my suits. Here is a link in case you are interested.

I have gone to Levi Carpenter Jeans. I like the Slant pocket opening, much easier to draw from. Also you get small pockets on the legs, just large enough for a cell phone and a mag.

Works great.

++ 1 to the 5.11 vest....even have the fishin flies for realistic....behind those is my 229RSig....really comfortable...for inside pocket conceals and also for Galco Fletch high OWB
