CHL Fashion Show Models Wanted

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

Who says you can't have a modeling career!? Now's your chance to prove all the nay-sayers wrong.

Seriously, we need some people to model various ways to carry a concealed handgun. We would like to demonstrate as many different methods and holsters as possible. We would also like to have men and women of various sizes, height and "configuration  ." This can be fun and help many folks do a year's worth of buy-and-try work in an hour.

If you are interested, please send me an email and tell me what you would like to demonstrate in the way of holsters and guns. I'll pass this information along to the guy that is going to run the fashion show.

Thanks,
Chas.

I will be happy to display the virtues of the belly band, as well as Milt Sparks and Comp-Tac.

Thanks my friend.

Transportation is not the problem. We are having a Martial
Arts camp at the dojo the weekend after this...and we are all trying to get things ready.

I'll help out if needed.

I've got a Galco Combat Master OWB and dual-layer bullhide belt from The Belt Man for my Hi-Power that conceals under a work shirt or vest (same basic way longtooth carries his 1911). I've got a Bianchi 100 IWB for my PA-63 that works for either a work shirt, vest, or a loose-fitting t-shirt in combination with either pants or shorts. I've also got a Galco Classic Lite shoulder rig for the PA-63 that works under a work shirt or a suit jacket.

I've also got a cheaper Bianchi LH IWB holster for the PA-63 that I occasionally use for SOB carry if I'm not going to be sitting down.

I'm 6' and 265 lbs.

I have a comp-tac CTAC with velcro clips which I tuck my shirt in. I've got a few belt/shirt combinations that range from t-shirt casual to business formal.

I also have a planner, a fanny pack and smart carry, although with the latter all you get to see is the gun. ;-)

Information for fashion show

#14

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

Thanks for volunteering!!

Danny Stowers is running the fashion show and he would appreciate it if the volunteers would provide the following information in writing:

Name:
Gun carried
Method of carry (ex. IWB, Ankle, etc.), make/model of gun
Is this method seasonal?
Likes & dislikes
Special comments, if any

Please give these to him when you arrive Saturday morning so he can enter it into the computer before the fashion show during the lunch hour.

Thanks again
Chas.

Maybe we can figure something out...
