Another FOX OC Story

#1

Post by GrannyGlock »

From another Forum I frequent, but loved the descriptions
The wife of an officer I work with was accosted by a male suspect yesterday as she was walking to her car parked outside a local shopping mall. The suspect attempted to engage her in conversation and, when she ignored him, he grabbed her left upper-arm in an effort to gain control over her. But, lo...she instantly turned on him with an aerosol can of Fox 5.3 pepper spray in her other hand and without warning proceeded to paint him like a fence.

The suspect spun about and fled the scene tripping over and around cement curbs, abandoned shopping carts and sundry parked vehicles with his hands over his face...and loudly shrieking the word "B****!" with multiple highly-colorful expletives attached thereto. The now extremely irate lady called her husband on her cell and he got police on the way to her location. Responding officers tracked the still-howling suspect to the men's room at a nearby convenience store where he was found sloshing his face with water and giving vent to some very wicked swearing. The officers carted him off to the Ol' Stoney Lonesome and provided him with some temporary lodging where he'd be safe from the wrath of uncooperative crime victims. He'll have an opportunity to explain himself to a judge sometime today.

The officer, being a sensitive, attentive sort of husband, provided his wife with a new can of OC spray to replace the one she'd exhausted in action, and took her out to dinner at her favorite spot. He reports she's re-thinking her previously-held belief that she's better off without a firearm, too.

Life is good. ;-)

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison

I got a good chuckle out of that phrase.
