CHL class/qualification

#1

Post by jdlott74 »

I finally am one step closer to my CHL license. I passed the class on Saturday, passed the quals today (I'm so proud of myself). I was terrible at shooting at one point, and got everything notarized and fingerprinting done. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to send off for my license and get my gun. I'm getting the Taurus 24/7 Pro compact.

If you haven't been to Bullet Trap, it's a great gun store. 90% of the guys in there are great and friendly and helpful, even to the women. There is one older gentleman in there that I don't like but otherwise it's a great place to go for a women to shoot.
My CHL Application
10/23/2010 -- CHL class
10/25/2010 - Quals and Fingerprinting Done
11/3/2010 -- Application mailed to DPS
11/9/2010 -- Received at DPS
12/18/2010 -- Plastic in hand
