a corset holster!

#1

Post by SewTexas »

I couldn't decide where to put this...

I made myself a corset holster last week. I can't figure out why it didn't occur to me to do it until a lady in FB group I'm in mentioned that she had done it, and the light went on. I wore it all weekend. I love this thing! These run over $80 and I made it for less than $13 in materials, I got the corset at WalMart, and probably 1/2 hour.

I've shown one pic without a gun, and one with my gun just half in, so you can see where it goes. When my Curve is in, it's all the way in.

Edited to add pic, but it will only let me add one....odd...

I bought a Dene Adams corset holster for my wife, and it was expensive. It works decent.
You could make a killing if you decided to go into business making them - especially in the Texas market.
My sister-in-law does logos for clothing, FYI.

You need to put the pictures on a photo sharing site and the post the link use the "Img" tags.

After you added the file from your computer did you click the "Place Inline" button? That's what I did to attach the below:

Please keep trying. My wife has not found anything holster-wise that she is comfortable wearing.
This could be a good option for her.
Thanks

SewTexas you are almost there. After you have your image posted at imugr right click on the image and click OPEN IN NEW TAB. That will open the actual image and you sill see something like this - i.imgur.com/LXIThXv.jpg then add that in between the tags.

Syntyr, thank you for getting my pic up, I knew I was missing something simple.

And yes, we were basing our project on the Adams corset holster.
