Haunted Houses??

Is there any law prohibiting CHL carry at Haunted Houses? I live in the Grand Prairie area, does anyone know if they have the 30.06 sign posted?

Unless it's 51% or a school sponsored event there doesn't seem to be a law against CHL in haunted houses.

It's the other way around. If the school were paying to put it on, then it would be school sponsored.

I wrapped my pistol in a Ziploc bag then holstered it before going in. Some of the haunted houses spray water at some visitors.

Carried through one last year with no problems.

You might want to make sure your cover garment is secure, as some of the more elaborate ones have you crawling and walking through tight areas that may pull it open. I think I'm going to forgo the mag carrier for my main carry and pocket carry an extra mag (in a zippered cargo pocket) to keep from losing my mags while crawling around on my stomach, if the situation presents itself as it did last year.

There sure are some adventurous people here!!! ;-)

I believe the best point here so far, has been, that if it is a school sponsored event, leave it in the vehicle (locked up of course)...

I'm too old to be seeking thrills at places like this...I get too freaked out when I watch the Exorcist at home, even with all the lights on...I find myself pie-ing the corners back to the bedroom just so that I can spend the rest of the night not sleeping... :smilelol5:

I know, I'm a ninny... ;-)

Well, I think the real problem is that guns are useless against ghosts...bullets go right through them. Honest, I saw it on TV.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I hear you Stevie!

Man, I can't look at a spindle staircase without imagining her 'crab walking' down it!

I like the zip lock idea.

My house is haunted and I don't mind if someone carries there...seriously though, I would consider how skittish you are or some poor ghoul is going to get it...okay, not seriously. I'll quit now.
