new revolver

#1

Post by tommyg »

I recently bought a North American 22 mag revolver for carry. It is light and
easy to conceal I need to practice but the ammunition is hard to get
I need practice with the new gun, since it is rimfire I don't want to dry fire
any suggestions :confused5

Here you go. 22mag ammo everywhere. Or get some 22 snap caps.

Hope that is a BUG of some kind and not your primary carry. I bought about 10-15 boxes of Speer Gold Dot in 22 Magnum from a buddy of mine even though I do not have a gun in that caliber. My plan is pick up a Ruger LCR in that caliber to match my .357 Magnum LCR and share the same holsters.

Ammoseek mentioned above is a decent place. Aside from practice, I also recommend keeping it as a BUG. There are number of nice 9mm’s these days that I’d take as primary (sig p365, Glock 43, Ruger lc9/lcp etc) if the size of a “regular” compact (g19, CZ p10c, sig p320, CZ 75D pcr…) is too much.
