Crossfire Classes in Roanoke

#1

Post by Nighthawk »

Howdy all ~ I'm a little new here but I've been lurching for a while. I wanted to let anyone who was looking for a class know that I took the Crossfire class on 8/16 in Roanoke and thought it was great. I choose it as it was close to home but the instructors came recommended from a friend who took their course 2.5 years ago. To be honest I was not looking forward to spending 11 hours on a Saturday in a classroom but these guys made it easy. They were very interactive and made the time go by quickly. Linda ~ if you’re reading this I'm the guy that was wearing the Kansas State shirt, and thanks for teaching such a great class. For anyone thinking of taking the course ~ I highly recommend these guys!!!

What is a Crossfire Class, please?

OK, enough of this. You are going to give Crossfire and Marty BIGGER heads than they already have. "rlol"

In all seriousness, as an alumni of their class I have to wholeheartedly agree with these posts. They do a wonderful job and keep it interesting and informative. I am just going to remember to sign up for a renewal class that is in a different month than August when the range is 105!! :ack:

I LOVED the range....it reminded me of being back in West Texas...where ya could just go out in the pasture and shoot.

Here's a question maybe they can offer. I have a current CHL, I'm in no danger of it expiring any time soon; however, I have to say that I was less than satisfied with my CHL instructor to the point that I question whether he should even be an instructor. I'm wondering if Crossfire would let me "audit" the class, and what that would cost. My instructor's entire presentation was really nothing more than some videos, some of which had nothing whatsoever to do with CHL, handguns, or defensive situations. Some of them were military videos from Iraq and Afghanistan.

+1 on Crossfire! I took the class this past weekend (9/20) and have to say Marty and Linda both made the experience enjoyable. They were both interactive...and even gave us grief for being too quiet! I would enthusiastically recommend their classs to anyone in the area. :txflag:

So now I see why you guys like Crossfire so much. Linda and Marty are an awesome team.

I will most definitely be going back there when it's time to get my Texas permit. :txflag:
