Only my second day, and I was forced to use my CHL already!!

Bet the subject got your attention eh? It's absolutely a true story. LOL. I went to Gander Mountain this afternoon to check out this new place. First impressions are that it's a nice place. Lots of nest stull and a heck of a lot of long guns.

I was minding my own business checking out the shotguns, when a shiny new Sig P232 caught my eye. I decided to plunk down the cash and take it home with me. After filling out the usual yellow paperwork, I pulled out my CHL and presented it to the cashier!!!

Yippie!

I am jealous. Mine is still a virgin in every way. It still sits in its place right behind my DL in my wallet.

I am also jealous of the impulse buy. If I did something like that the boss would slay me. I did get brave and buy some fishing tackle without permission. I am such a sucker. :D

We will be expecting pictures and a full range report soon.

Which Gander did you go to?

This subject is missleading. Here I was thinking somebody tried to rob suckhow and he brandished his arsenal, but instead it was just a purchase, thankfully! Congrads on the new buy. I'm eyeballing the kimber UC II at my local store, maybe i will get some use coming up soon as well! :)

Well, since the CHL replaces the NICS, it was a use of the CHL.

You should imagine the new toy I've been eyeing lately...

I just love it when I can walk in, and then walk out with a new purchase...
