Are there any movie theaters not posted?

#1

Post by nightmare69 »

The last theater to my knowledge in east Texas posted 06/07 a couple of weeks ago. This is the 4 Star Cinema in Kilgore. I believe it was bought out and forced to post the premises. We used to have a few theaters that only posted 07 but the last few months it's seems most all added 06 as well. Anyone else noticed theaters in their area posting both signs?

all the Cinemarks in the RGV are 07 only (well, except for that one that's now [in]famous for 06 verbal notice'ing an off duty LEO). We have a single Carmike which is 06/07.

All the theaters in Tyler/Longview are posted with both signs. I hate giving any business to anti-gun establishments but the wife and I like to go to the movies.

I was going to say you should find yourself a Cinemark, but it looks like slim pickins out there.

Our local Cinemark is posted '07, but CC is fine there.

Nearest Cinemark in east Texas is in Athens. If we could get a few of those and HEBs we would be set.

Alamo Drafthouse isn't posted. Their website says CHL is fine but they don't allow rifles because of the TABC license. (not 51%)

I didn't see any signs in Katy when I saw The Accountant other than the TABC felony upgrade for unlicensed RKBA. Maybe the 30.07 sign was concealed. ;-)

The one here has it inside the foyer between the door and a set of interior doors instead of actually at the entrance.

Last I looked (I don't go to movies much) Times Square Cinema is posted 30.07 but not 30.06...
