Regs on cc in Colorado

#1

Post by lildave40 »

Good Morning All,

Me and a friend of mine are taking our families to Colorado. Can someone provide information on cc in Colorado? Are the laws different? I found alot of discussions on oc but not cc.

Thank you in advance

Here's another site, that also has a cheap app for smartphones/tablets: https://mylegalheat.com/

There's also an iPhone app called "CCW – Concealed Carry 50 State Guide by Workman Consulting LLC": https://appsto.re/us/lViBA.i. At $1.99, it's double the cost of some of the others.......but seriously, you're gonna let $1.99 stop you? That's less than a cup of coffee in a lot of places...... "rlol"

The same developers also have an app called "Posted!" which locates areas that are off-limits to CCW in all 50 states. The app I linked above contains the "Posted!" app within its features. For inside of Texas, Texas3006.com has a brilliant app for locating, reporting, searching for, and commenting on posted locations.

You should also go the the State of CO government's website and look over the regs straight from the horses mouth. I use handgunlaws website since it's easy to get your information but if I really need to get the fine details or have a question I go the the state's website.

Now TAM, you know it's politically incorrect to make an assumption on what gender any given individual may identify with this week. :biggrinjester:

You mean not even a simple gentleman's pocket folder?

I'm pretty sure the Aspen and Boulder prohibitions apply to concealed knives only. I'm not sure whether a SAK in the pocket would be illegal but I don't plan to make case law.

A knife with a blade under 3½" is generally OK to conceal under state law in Colorado, but watch those pesky pinko enclaves.
