FYI Ft Worth

Just for any of you guys going to the Ft Worth Gun show today, the show was NOT posted, i was prepared ti try and get in while concealed but they surprised me and had no 06 or 07 signs!

And no Ft. Worth PD "checking" firearms?

One cop checking guns but he was easily walked past and and he certainly wasn't paying attention!

It's fine for them to check guns that you plan to sell or trade, imo. Your carry gun shouldn't leave the holster unless it's time to go up for the day or if you're in a situation where you need it.

Sounds pretty much like the last time I was there. When I went I saw some sign saying firearms must be unloaded or some such, but it was not a 30.06 sign.

Correct. It's actually quite dangerous to have them messing with carry guns that are loaded and ready. Much safer to just leave them in your holster, pocket, IWB, etc.
