I see quite a few new students (usually women) who say they are afraid of guns, but have decided that have to learn this stuff, because the world is changing. While they did not claim to be anti-gun, fear is often what drives that. After learning about guns, and how to shoot, they generally move into our camp, and are often excited about the experience.
