Is this included under the no carry in professional sports venues?

Never been there, but taking a guess... The rodeo is a professional sports venue, so you wouldn't be able to carry in the arena that it is held in, but the rest of the fair grounds should be ok.

Venue is not listed in Texas3006.com.
The rodeo events that take place in the Coliseum are official PRCA events.
Venue is owned by, but not operated by, Taylor county;
FAQS
EXPO CENTER OF TAYLOR COUNTY
Is the Expo Center of Taylor County county owned and operated?
No. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who rents the 117 acre facility from Taylor County. Our employees work for the organization and are not county or city employees.
None of the photos in their google entry show any postings.
Google Maps Street View is too old (2013, 2007) to be of use (property entrance gates) as to determining posting.

I'd suspect that as long as you stay out of the coliseum during rodeo events, you're OK. Maybe some from Abilene can verify.
