Texas counts a crime in another state or country as a felony for gun license purposes if it's possible to be sentenced to a year or more in prison even if somebody gets a lesser sentence.

That's odd. I had a felony theft in Indiana in 1998. It got reduced to a misdemeanor. When i applied for my Ltc, i didn't submit my paperwork. They sent me a letter asking for documents. I submitted my documents and 6 months later , i received my ltc. Good luck with your situation

When did it get reduced to a misdemeanor? If you were arrested for a felony but only convicted of of a misdemeanor, or plea bargained it down to a misdemeanor, that's different than being convicted of a felony.

The 1203.4 thing is what makes you disqualified.
