Nice pictures!

I go almost every weekend during the season. I especially like the early teal season but it's usually a race between me and the alligators for any downed ducks. We had a good season with a good mix of birds. What we didn't get this year was a constant run of gadwalls. Usually by the second split that is all we shoot. I had half my limit in teal on the last day this year. My biggest thrill on the last two days of the season was watching a bald eagle dive down to grab a foot long gar about 20 yards from me two days in a row!

She sniffs them out.

Seriously, her nose is amazing. The solo mallard hanging next to my gun sailed 120 yards into some reeds so we went over to the reeds to see if we could find it and when I was about to give up she got very excited and started forcing herself through the reeds and over logs. She picked up the scent from 25 yards away on a still morning.

Oh, yea. Duck hunting is one of my favorite types of hunting. Unfortunately I did not get out on the duck hunts as much as I would have liked to this last season, but I got a few hunts in. It was not a bad year. Great pictures posted by the way. :thumbs2:

It is funny watching the dog when you are at the end of a hunt and the dog just can fight staying awake any longer. A pic of my dog with her eyes closed.

I use to a LOT. However, I haven't been since my trusty black lab passed at the tender young age of 17 a couple of years back.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.

I'm seriously not trying to hijack here, but ducks are what I used to teach some Guyanese how to talk Texan.
