Axis Buck in Junction

Shot this buck a few days ago while out at out place in the Hill Country. 160 yards with a 6.5 Creedmoor. 31" main beams but not very wide.

I haven't commented much on game, but that is a beautiful deer. It would look great on my office wall if you want to donate to a worthy cause. :thumbs2:

Very nice indeed. I have a hide from a doe that stays on a recliner and it always brings fond memories. You mounting it?

Axis deer meat is absolutely superb, sweet and delicious. I like it better than the best filet mignon. :cheers2:

Very true. Like really really lean beef.
