NPC - the new way to insult liberals

My son told me about this a week ago. It’s now making the news. It’s been on 4 Chan for quite a while.

So to keep you up to date on the latest trends:

NPC. - non player character. In video games this is a character that can only usually repeat what he or she has been programmed to tell you. No matter what you ask them or do to them, they just repeat the same thing over and over again. In the latest Jumanji movie it was the guy in the Jeep who explained the game rules.

A test came out a while back that showed 1/2 the population doesn’t talk to themselves internally. So the right picked it up that it was the lefties that don’t silently verbalize. Then someone said oh all lefties must be NPC- non player characters. Then the memes started.

This is a hilarious article by the New York Times trying to calm the NPC’s down about these insults, but only tends to make things worse for them. But what can they do? They are NPC’s.

That's funny. I can just imagine a bunch of neck bearded, latte sippers, getting bent out of shape, and getting even more frustrated, when they have no response, that doesn't give more credence to their meme portrayal.

I love how NYT labeled it as "mild voter suppression". You know, because even though the left aren't "NPCs", they will just believe a meme about what day voting occurs instead of looking it up for themselves. Priceless.

If you are texting them use the "OK" emoji instead of typing the letters. They think its a symbol for the White Supremacists. My iphone auto suggests the offensive emoji. I guess Apple must employ a bunch of skinheads.
