Post by Keith B »

Warning, the video is pretty graphic on the crash.

DESOTO, Texas - A North Texas burglary suspect was hit by a concrete truck during a police chase and died early Friday morning, and the accident was caught on police dash camera.

Wow... the lack of physics and/or statistics understanding on the part of fleeing criminals never ceases to amaze me.

Still sad though.

I'm glad the officer was not seriously injured in this dangerous encounter. It sounds like there was much potential for a bad outcome.

...if he'd fight a cop...what would he do to a homeowner who confronted him while he was loading up his sleigh...swift justice was served...

The concrete truck driver received non life-threatening injuries.
:???: Sucks that he got hurt, but I'm glad it wasn't too serious.

Wrong place, wrong time. That is pretty amazing. He must have been wearing a seat belt.

So did they dump the concrete load in a ditch or something. Or did it set up in the truck? You have only an hour or two.

Was the dead suspect hauling stolen goods? Pay day in dirt, I guess.

Don't think it mattered since the truck truned over on it's side. I am sure teh drum was damaged and would have to be replaced.

I'm glad the police officer was ok. That clown was probably high on something.
