The upside may just be the message - unlike the previous administration, this one will enforce the "line in the sand" and keep it's word when it says it will act. That alone should be helpful on the world stage, regardless of what was or wasn't hit last night or the outcome with syria.

I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of Nikki Haley being appointed ambassador of the U.N, Although I admired her as a governor I didn't think she had the experience to be an ambassador. Boy was I wrong. She is a powerful speaker and the ability to state what needs to be said without mincing words, while not being condescending to her opposition. A true diplomat.

Melania being ignored by all the magazines.

So far so good with the tomahawk attack of the Syrian chemical weapons facilities. Apparently went very well. Our side's news articles seem very convincing as opposed to the Russian side. Putin I guess likes to go for the old school Russian propaganda stuff. He apparently doesn't realize Russians can probably get the news from anywhere now.

Lot of "wag the dog" remarks from the US MSM, but that's expected. In some ways, coming out right with Comey's book, it was brilliant timing.

So far, I think this goes in as a win for Trump.

The Supreme Court just handed the Trump administration a loss on immigration — and Gorsuch was the tiebreaking vote.

Comey, Clinton, McCabe and Lynch Officially Referred For Criminal Investigation
Eleven House Republicans have sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray officially referring Hillary Clinton, fired FBI Director James Comey, fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch for criminal investigation. FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who were caught sending hundreds of anti-Trump text messages during the Clinton investigation, have also been referred for criminal investigation. U.S. Attorney John Huber, who was tapped by Sessions a few weeks ago to investigate the FBI's handling of the Clinton email probe, was copied on the request.

Quick, someone go wake up AG Sessions!

I expect nothing from this referral, no indictments, no arrests, no trials. Bread and circuses.

CBS Drama "The Good Fight" We Need to Assassinate the President’
http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/ ... president/
A little more than a week after fantasizing about impeaching Donald Trump, CBS drama The Good Fight featured multiple scenes that saw a series regular discussing assassinating the president to usher in “regime change.”
Nothing to see here, move along.

Rudy says Trump organization repaid lawyer for Stormy payments.

I’ve been out of town trying to catch up on what happened while I was gone.

Mueller apparently has been slammed by a couple of judges on some of his tactics.

Trump spoke at the NRA convention in Dallas.

I think May visited Trump in April.

Have I missed anything?

Donald Trump Is Not Welcome at the Met Gala Where He Was Once a Regular and Proposed to Melania - People

John McCain doesn’t want Trump at his funeral.

Just before dieing most people realize they will be facing St. Peter at the pearly gates and realize they may want to make amends for their life, forgive their enemies and make peace with the world.

I will try to remember John McCain the POW and war hero and blame his final years on his tragic illness.

Unemployment at 17 year low
http://www.businessinsider.com/us-jobs- ... 018-2018-5
The unemployment rate fell to 3.9% after holding steady at 4.1% for six months. It is the lowest level since late 2000.
Bigger than Washington
https://pjmedia.com/richardfernandez/bi ... ashington/
The Cold Civil War has temporarily settled into a waiting game. The political combatants like two tired boxers, are punching without much energy, both sides cut and bloodied. All semblance of grace and beauty has gone out of the match. The struggle to control Washington is driven by sheer brutality now.
Two stories appeared on the front page and above the fold in the New York Times over the ‎weekend. The first was about the seemingly never-ending Russia probe. The second was about the Labor Department reporting the lowest unemployment rate in nearly 20 years. Which of these two stories do you think American voters care more about?

Trump withdraws from Obama/Kerry Iran nuke deal.

Kerry may have recently violated the Logan Act attempting to negotiate foreign policy in advance of Trumps decision.

If McCain was a real hero he would resign now and let another Republican fill his spot. At least Ted Kennedy stayed faithful to his party until the end.
