Young Conservatives at Colleges and Universities

#1

Post by mojo84 »

We always see the progressive liberal wingnuts on college campuses protesting and rioting. Unfortunately, the conservative well-mannered and intelligent conservative students are overlooked. Many assume America's colleges and universities are nothing but dens of illiterate indoctrinated millennial malcontents. While they make up a large part of the campus population, there are many that do not subscribe to the liberal agenda. There are many that are committed to conservative ideals and are swimming upstream against a very strong current.

Here is just one example of an organization that fosters conservative ideals on campuses across our nation. I encourage you to check them out and support them any way you can with prayer, morale support or other ways you see fit.

From their website.
Who is Turning Point USA?

Turning Point USA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded on June 5, 2012 by Charlie Kirk. The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government.

Turning Point USA is a 24/7-365 activist organization. Our staff and students travel to campuses in all 50 states to identify young conservatives, connect them with local chapters and resources, advertise conservative values, engage in face-to-face and peer-to-peer conversations about the pressing issues facing our country.

Perhaps, more Conservative Colleges and Universities will be founded where students and staff can be armed and well behaved without a scintilla of controversy.

There will always be some controversy. It's just a fact of life that comes with Liberty and Freedom. There are no utopias but we can support those that strive for conservative values.

I will settle for more apolitical universities being established.

The point is more about conservative young people going against the liberal grain that prevails in most of the country's colleges and universities.

Turning Point USA is a growing movement that may be at the top of the spear in the effort to return some balance to our colleges and universities.

Redneck_Buddha,

"I will settle for more apolitical universities being established."

I agree, but given the current status of the overwhelming number of commie/socialists school staff status infecting our colleges and universities the only way out of their influence would be to abandon the current schools and create Conservatives schools where commie/socialist influence is removed.

Found an apolitical school and it'll soon be overrun with commie profs and instructors. They want to indoctrinate students with their repellent brand of propaganda to produce batches of new fascist/commie/socialists.

Found a Conservative school that can weed out the commies before they're hired would work for me.
