I'm a proud dad

#1

Post by The Annoyed Man »

Posting from Arlington Convention Center, where my son is about to have his formal graduation from the Lincoln Tech CNC Machining and Manufacturing Technology program. He was the top student in his class throughout the entire program, and he graduates with 6 NIMS certifications. He has already landed a job in a rapid prototyping shop.

My son has really stepped up, and I am so proud of him - all the time, but today in particular.

Congrats TAM, TAW, and TAS!!!

I know how tough it is to go to school while trying to raise a family. You have every reason to be proud.

Best of luck to TAS in his new job. I know TADIL and TAGK will be glad to have him home on a regular schedule. :thewave

Congratulations to The Annoyed Son!

So, after the Hearing Protection Act passes, are all the plans in place to start manufacturing as AF-TAC? And did you tell him you decided to call the company "Annoyed Family Tactical & Hunting"? And that you chose that name because "AF-TAC" sounds a bit like "AFLAC," and you figured you'd get mileage out of every commercial that AFLAC runs?

Great job!! I would be very proud too!!

I just told this story to my Son. All he does is play and color like a liberal. Sometimes I wonder about him, it was had to even hard him to focus on me while i told him your sons degree. Perhaps he will stop his lazy streak and be productive like your son. Seriously, even though my son is four year old, he needs to start pulling his weight.
