We are working on that. We know many can't be reached through one media outlet. We're burning 24/7 trying to get information out to as many as possible. Please message me and we can talk if you'd like.
Oddly enough, a large portion of the anti Facebook demographic favors Twitter; you might try spreading the word there.

I am twitter challenged but we did start an account this morning. A friend of mine is a twitter genius and I've got him on the job.

There are 2 billion FB users... that is roughly 1/4 of the planet, and in North America there are 234 million FB accounts out of a total US and Canada population of 357 million... that is 65%. You are behind the times and in the minority... can't help you with that.

Not every FB account equals a person. There are probably millions of FB accounts that are organizations, companies, groups and "fake" accounts that are made by same person.

Zuckerberg would love it if 65% of North Americans wasted time on FB.

I will never book my face nor tweet. I'm not one who walks around or drives with my eyes glued to to my iPhone.

:iagree:

No Facebook, no tweeter, no instagram, no chat snap, nada. I don't think many would find my life so interesting that they would waste their's reading about it. JMHO

That may be true, but the amount of information out there is incredible. Much of it is garbage but you figure out how to weed that stuff out. I am on all of the medias that you listed but can't function any of them except Facebook.

I see no benefit in owning an I-phone.

About the only thing I'm mildly hooked on is this place, (usually while drinking my morning coffee) otherwise I'm either doing some form of physical effort or reading, real reading, not some internet something, grumble, snort, grumble.

Given my inability to speak now, I never use the phone. But, but, you can text can't you? No. Never learned and don't want to. I can email, but rarely even do that.

Well, why not you old Luddite?

Because, I'd rather live by actually living, not haunting the internet...

I-phones, snap this or chat that, pfffffftttt!!!!!

Now, I gotta go on a long bike ride, so get out of my way...

Same here. I have none of those, and likely never will. It took me years to finally give in an get a LinkedIn account, but that is only because I found myself nearing critical mass in the oil & gas slowdown. I still hate the fact that I had to open that one, but to be honest, in this day in age, you can't find a decent job without it in my field. That being said, I have the account, and I've never once posted anything on it. It exists solely for job hunting.

I use email, but I won't even use text messages. My phone is now up to over 3000 text messages that I've never even read (and never will). I shut off all alerts, so I don't even know that I get them - but since it won't let me delete the texting app, I left the little counter on it so I can watch my number climb a little each month.

So for me, it's really only two things: TexasCHLForum, and some of the backroom chatter between the Texas3006.com moderators. Everything else I've found is really junk.

I get a big kick out of someone not paying attention to their surroundings while focusing solely on their Idiot-phone, apparently (falsely) believing some supernatural entity will assist with a second pair of eyes until voila' they fall into a pool of water or a hole or a parking meter or text while driving creating an accident causing some poor innocent (I don't get any Schadenfreude like delight when innocents are involved) to be harmed.

I-phones are a menace...

So because others do it then everybody else should as well? I would also suggest that the amount of people who truly believe in this country and would like to return to the Constitution as written are also in the minority? Are they also behind in the times and should they just conceed to the beliefs of those who change the meaning of the Constitution to meet their political beliefs?

Personally i care about my personal information and try to limit where it is, if yiou and others choose to put you life out in cyber space so be it that is a decision that you make. Just because some of us choose not to does not mean we are behind the times and to claim such shows pure ignorance on your part....

The question is how does one get their message out to the greatest number of folks in an efficient manner? It makes logical sense to start with social media outlets because the majority of people are active on those sites. At the opposite end of the spectrum are folks who don't own a radio or TV, never leave their house and live 50 miles from their closest neighbor. It would be very difficult to reach those folks and someone trying to get a message out to as many people as possible should probably just skip them.

Then there are folks like yourself who are somewhere in the middle of that spectrum since you are active on this site at a minimum. So it's a good thing that someone posted on here so you could get the info.

And I would say that someone with no presence, or a minimal presence, on social networking sites is in fact behind the times by definition. But that's not exactly a bad thing. I am proud to be behind the times myself.
