The Confederate battle flag and the Confederate monuments are just a run up to the real end game.

The constitution was written and endorsed solely by white males, many of which owned slaves. Ultimately the left wants to rewrite this document.

And the Constitution was written with an implied intent to end slavery from the git-go but they knew doing it cold turkey would fracture the infant nation...it ended up fracturing it anyway...

What is sad is that people really believe the Civil War was just about slavery.

It is difficult to wrap small minds around big, complex topics so they just simplify the topics until they are small enough to handle. We see many, many examples of this.

The first American revolution was about taxes.

The second American revolution (aka Civil War) was about slavery.

The third American revolution will be about a lunatic fringe being defeated (this works regardless of which side wins).

Global warming / cooling is caused by rednecks in pickup trucks and conservatives who don't recycle their garbage.

Poverty is caused by the greed of rich white men who are conservatives (rich white male liberals are exempted, of course).

Once this is achieved the United States will no longer be a bastion of freedom and equality but instead it will be another nation on the road to becoming one more failed socialist experiment.

When I entered College I noticed that History had changed. It has been over 33 years now and when I watch the news these "30 somethings" have no clue about our History. It is very very sad that America has not only stopped teaching History, but now they are trying to change our History.
