the bird's power supplies are operational. The space agency will therefore attempt to revive the
mission – if it can find money to fund the effort.

I'm sure he will get a wonderful "AttaBoy" from somebody deemed important. Getting a finders fee or substantial reward is against the whole mindset of the amateur radio folks.
