Remember the Alamo! Long live the Republic of Texas! :txflag:
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

300th anniversary of the Alamo this year I believe. Went to SA in January. A lot of history there that some Texans don’t even know about.

My brain works strangely at times, or so I have been told. :biggrinjester:

Today is the 182nd anniversary of the date of the fall of Alamo. Interestingly, today is not the 182nd anniversary of the 13th day of the siege. 1836 was a leap year, so February had 29 days. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the 13th day of the siege. March 6 is the date of the fall of Alamo, so today we celebrate the lives and deaths of those Texicans who came before us.

I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

I celebrate the sacrifices of the men who gave me a place to call home.
“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
