Firefox did not like this site

Post by philip964 »

Right after a Microsoft update, Firefox gave me a warning page saying TexasCHLForum.com was not secure. (has never done this before) It made me jump through hoops to get to the website. I had to ok an exception for this site. It said all kinds of bad thing would happen if I went here.

So is this another reason to cuss Bill Gates again?

A real problem if Texas CHLForum.com was a bank?

Or something I should not worry about as I live on the wild side anyway?

if this a poll, I vote "something I should not worry about as I live on the wild side anyway". I see this warning, too. Just recently started.

The problem is that the security certificate has expired. Change the address from https://..... to http://.... and it will work. Admin needs to renew the cert and reinstall. FYI -- websites having that cert are less likely to have passwords discovered by a packet sniffer, and will also place higher in search results. That is not official, per Google, but it does have an effect on the weighting assigned to websites.

:iagree:
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

more than likely the site's certificate has expired. all that does is tell your browser "Yes this is a safe site" no big deal. we know its safe. imo it'll keep unwanted riffraff out.

Thanks, Charles! It's working as usual on my phones and computers with IE, Edge, and Chrome.
