Slick! This is gonna be FUN :)

Hurry up and order the freeze-plugs - I found that the best way was to order them through NAPA online to be shipped to your nearest NAPA store; most stores don't seem to have more than a few plugs physically in-stock. It was amusing when I went to pick them up, too - the guy said to me 'Building a silencer, huh" (it wasn't a question)
I already called.... the warehouse is in Coppell, not far from me, and they have a store front. I kind of want to drive over there just to see if they say the same thing to me.

For those of you thinking about this (and I'm now one of them), you can buy kits - for example - https://www.solventtrap.net/product/solvent-trap-kit/ - that are fairly inexpensive. Then, after you get your NFA stamp, you can get everything drilled out, and you're good to go.

Looks about the same cost as the parts from SDT which Andy and I used.

Call me if you have questions - I have the plug-forming tool, too.
You know I will.

What tools do you need for the drilling, build and assembly? Is there somewhere you would recommend where I could watch a step by step video or instruction guide?

Well, y'all have convinced me to start on this trip. What is the consensus on forming the plugs? IS in necessary? Does it provide a significant increase in performance?
