The lights might be blacked out by the swarms of mosquitoes. Just sayin....

Flame thrower or DDT fogger should do the trick. Shot week before last in Conroe and it was the 'love bugs' that were driving us nuts.

Yes I'm sure they have signs about defense shotguns. I'm sure they have no signs about flamethrowers! :biggrinjester:

I agree on Sunday's but might be available other days as well. Depends upon work. I sometimes have to try breaking into the bank at night.

Traffic would be a limiting factor for weekday evening shoots. Not to mention the potential of having to leave guns & ammo in the car all day while at work (for those that would have to go straight from work & aren't fortunate to work where you can bring guns into the office).

I can do Sundays.

#8 and #9 shot, or in between, but no 7.5 and they do want to check as you're paying.

I'm fairly flexible so whatever works for the majority should work for me as well.

#8 or #9, good to know, thank you!

Scott, I am fairly new at this... why no 7.5 shot" all of my R2 rounds are 7.5.

I can always buy different just wondering.

I'm wondering why #7½ shot is prohibited myself. :headscratch #8 and 9 give you a numerical advantage for shot count per ounce so I'd prefer it over #7½ anyway.

Usually 7 1/2 is the cut-off. Maybe there's something particular about that range that has them wanting only the lighter end of the spectrum.

7.5 has more travel. Civilization has been encroaching and they want to avoid issues.

:iagree: The pullers say to avoid hitting the neighbors. And yes they do check your ammo when paying

Haven't abandoned my desire to get together and break some clays. Since my last post I had my shotgun bag with chokes and various sundry stolen. Fortunately, they didn't get the shotgun itself.

On Friday, I made a trip down to the Briley sales room and picked up some replacements. Very friendly and helpful folks, but beware, you can leave there several bills lighter in the wallet if you linger.
