A few were advertised for $299 in Chris Turner's district the day after parkland shooting, Police say AR15s will be carried at the Florida schools now so they're obviously the best tool for defending kids or home defense so demand is increasing. I don't have one but I guess I'll buy one because Police know best right?

Haven't seen any movement on prices. Entry level stuff is at rock bottom the high end stuff is still high end.

Sales are definitely up though.

If I thought I wanted one, I wouldn't dally. This recent senseless massacre just may be all it takes to bring about a sea change in laws and availability. We may be about to see who is more interested in getting votes than in the 2A. Just sayin'.... :rules:

I'm seeing minor price movement on upper-entry level AR's (S&W Sport, Ruger AR556, etc). From just under $500 to $520 or so at Buds. This is the real indicator of whether people actually believe that any new restrictions will be placed on guns, IMHO. So far the answer seems to be "change isn't all that likely".

This is one indicator to me of when I need to start worrying about / planning for gun control.

My son told me he sold more AR15's last week than in all of January, told me prices are likely to go up in April!

I happened to visit a pretty nice gun store in Tyler Friday. The Ruger AR556 was a $100 more than the Atwoods special but I suspect that's pretty normal. What I noticed were more than a few folk ogling the AR's and a couple filling out 4473's for something or other.

Boy howdy! Those .380 Kimber Micros sure are cute and cuddly. If I wasn't so elderly........

My wholesalers are starting to run low on lower priced AR’s. Some FFLs in other states are seeing more younger people buying, fearful the buying age for AR’s wil be lowered.

I just did a search at my wholesalers to see what was in stock for a customer. There's basically nothing under $800 available and one ar I ordered last Thursday has gone up $60 today.

I just ordered a 300 blackout barrel this weekend. Seems like a lot of those are out of stock. I feel at least a small run on rifles and parts coming.

Well Oldgringo, I am elderly too and you may have a couple of years on me but I quit slobbering  and bought one when they came out. Go ahead and get one. I think you will like it. I like the way mine shoots.
