One of them is by a private individual, not an individual(s) plus gun rights group(s). It is my understanding that the last legislature, at the bidding of the same governor, did away with qualified immunity at the state level, so the governor can be sued personally for her official transgressions, which may be what the individual lawsuit is about. heh heh.
that would be grand

i too question why she didnt strengthen current rules and let cops actually do their job to corral criminals, but then i thought all of ABQ police force are mostly criminals so i it is what is is
gangs run the city and they do not want to control that.
like i have stated ABQ makes chicago look user friendly

New Mexico Shooting Sports Association has joined with GOA and SAF to sue the NM Governor.

I’m sure any of the three would take a donation or a new membership to help support the lawsuit.

Here’s the membership page for the NMSSA, and at the page there’s a link at the top for single donations.

Dana brings up a very good point. Didn't know AG was backed by Soros when a DA.

per grayling 813's post above:
Didn’t the Supreme Court rule on this after the War of Republican Aggression?

Your quote above does not state what year the above ruling was made.

It mentions the 50 states, so if accurate, the ruling would have to occur after August 21, 1959 or later, when Hawaii became the 50th state.

The article states the decision was in Ex Parte Milligan in 1866. It then goes on to reference the fifty states, so the article is after the date you mention but the decision was before it.

There have been two arrests in the case of an 11-year-old boy who was shot and killed outside a baseball stadium, the case that New Mexico governor Grisham used as an excuse to ban firearm carry in the state's largest city. More than a dozen rounds were fired into the pickup truck carrying the boy and his 24-year-old cousin, who was paralyzed from the waist down as a result.

Investigators initially thought it might be an instance of road rage and democrat Grisham pounced on that as an "only deplorables carry guns and they must be stopped" opportunity.

But, surprise! It wasn't some good ol' boy in a fit of road rage after a few too many beers at the baseball game. Two drug dealers were arrested for the crime, one of them 22 and the other 21. The 22-year-old already had a warrant active for failing to appear on a drug charge, and the 21-year-old had around 100,000 fentanyl tablets in his vehicle when he was arrested.

Regarding the arrests and the crime, Albuquerque police chief Harold Medina told reporters: "It is our belief that these cowards mixed up the two vehicles and shot into the wrong vehicle."

Of course it isn't criminals that's the problem. It's guns. The criminals are all good people who simply need compassion, understanding, gentle treatment, and no expensive cash bails. But guns? Guns are downright evil.
