Thanks, Jason. We are gonna try to be there by about 12:30 also. Marty and I should be pretty easy to spot. Look for the guy resembling Yosemite Sam (only taller, LOTS taller) carrying the TV.

And of course, followed by the beautiful blonde. Yeah... I have a rich fantasy life.

Sorry for not making it Sunday. Instead of life getting in the way, my wife did it for me. Kind of like she did not want me to go and planned it. She decided to get into a Car reck while going to the store Sunday morning and conviently messed up the car!!!!!! Dagnagit!!!!

Anyway, I hope there was a good turn out and everyone had a great time learning. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to catch another session if it comes this way..

Great class!

Food and conversation were great...Utah has some great qualities, and there are not a whole lot of differences between Texas and Utah...But the ones that do pop up, are easy to figure out, and not a great stretch to apply...

I alway say become a student of the law, remember what you can, and if you forget something ya better know where to go to find the answer...

But the best part...

Another non-res permit in the wallet...

Thanks Mrs. "L" and "Yosemite"!!! Have fun in Mesquite!

I agree.....the class was fun and it will be nice to have another license in the safe in case I ever lose my wallet and have to replace my Texas license. I think it is wonderful insurance with the extra states as a bonus  Interesting laws and good price. It was great to visit with everyone there and those that stopped by just to say hello!

If anyone has any questions about the Utah CFP, I moved here from Utah about a year and a half ago. I've had the Utah CFP for going 4 years now (lived in KS where CCW isn't available before that).

The Utah BCI has been extremely easy to deal with thru address changes and many questions I've had.

For those asked why they should get a Utah CFP, two big reasons.

- renewal requires only a $10 fee, no refresher class.

- No matter which state you might move, your Utah CFP is valid. For example, the Utah CFP would be ideal for military folks.

The class was good. The facility was nice. Now the wait for the permit begins.
