Guns on Campus in Utah

The video is better than the printed Fox 13 story.

This story is also in today's Dallas Morning News on page 9 A.

Story is about a feminist who was scheduled to speak at the University and cancelled her speaking engagement because of campus carry being allowed at the school.

Partially in her defense, she has had previous threats on her life, so I might be concerned about guns being allowed as well, depending on how much they are checking for weapons before her presentation.

There's no legitimate reason to believe a Utah CFP is any more likely to attack her than a Utah LEO. Does she want them disarmed as well?

Based on the antics of her fellow travelers, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a publicity stunt. I'm not saying it was, only that it wouldn't surprise me.

This was a stunt. If you reasearch this person, she makes money off the drama.

Would you rather be speaking in front of an audience where the law abiding are allowed to CC, or an audience where only criminals do it?
I hope she's safe when she visits NYC, DC or Chicago (yes, I know. Still.).

If you were a member of MDA or a like person that believes in gun control. What would be your answer?

How about tracking down the source of the threat and throwing his butt in a deep dark hole with bars?

I don't think they can.

Why?

Because if you read the transcript of that threat, it sounds like it was made up by someone who doesn't know anything about guns.

That supports the theory it was a publicity stunt. If that's what it was, it seems like it worked. I don't know anybody who can recall hearing about this blogger before now.
