IMHO, there is no benefit to get any other state permit until we see what happens with the National Reciprocity Act.

What if National Reciprocity fails? You think it's going to get enough Dem votes in the Senate to overcome a filibuster? And are you confident that it will survive multiple court challenges that will take years to reach the Supreme Court? The President can't even take an executive action on immigration plainly authorized by law without an injunction from a leftist Federal judge.

I suppose it could be a benefit if one is travelling in AZ and wishes to be in compliance with the GFSZA.

What if National Reciprocity fails?
It will be similar to the Hearing Protection Act failing. People who did the paperwork and paid the fees will have one fewer infringement on their right to keep and bear arms. People who took a wait and see attitude will be out of luck until they do the paperwork and pay the 2A tax.
