Houston area job search

For those in the Houston area, there is a faith based 'networking' group in Spring. Northwest Bible Church's Between Jobs Ministry. They meet each wednesday morning and break up into smaller networking groups according to your field.

They offer a lot of services: resume help, networking, job searching tips and will post available jobs that may not be out on the usual job search lists. They also have a support group for spouses. A lot of companies contact this ministry prior to posting openings.

I went several times in 2007 and the resources they offer are amazing. Did not find my job directly through them, but their networking helped tremendously.
